GOT QUESTIONS? WE HAVE ANSWERS.

What is a silent disco?

A silent disco or silent party, is an event where people dance to music broadcasted through wireless headphones instead of speakers. People wearing the headphones hear the music being played, making it an epic choice for venues with noise constraints, or even to create a different atmosphere where guests can still hold a conversation at a normal volume while partying! A silent disco can be as simple as setting up a playlist (up to three) so everyone can jam out or if you want to take things to the next level, you can bring in live DJs, lights, disco balls, and more!

Do we need our own playlists?

Most of our clients make their own playlists, but our Jam Experts are happy to create one just for you or share our pre-made playlists! What makes Ear Jams EPIC is that you get to choose what you and your guests listen to!

What is a transmitter?

A transmitter is what allows you to connect to an audio source that will transmit to our Ear Jams wireless headphones. You can have up to three transmitters per event, allowing you to play three channels at once! Each transmitter comes with a 12-16 hour battery, audio cable, and lapel microphone. You will need a separate audio source (phone, computer, tablet, etc.) for each transmitter.

Are the channels appropriate for youth and children?

You get to choose what audio is played for your event so you can cater it to children, youth, adults, and even seniors! The music, movie, or other silent event is as appropriate as you need it to be for your desired audience.

What else can I use the headphones for besides a silent disco?

Besides a silent disco (our personal favorite), you can use our headphones for so much more! Anything from outdoor movies, fitness classes, and silent wedding receptions to guided tours, corporation presentations, conferences, mediation sessions, live translation services, and even sensory/quiet rooms and spaces!
